Price: $1,200.00

Beautifully preserved Moog Prodigy MK1 ca 1979 (serial # 1702) with RARE S trig, V trig (Gate), KB mods and original cables!

This Prodigy has never been gigged and is in near mint condition. Work done includes replacement of caps, LED, regulator, resistors, set volts per octave and tuned oscillators.

Mod work (see diagram on the bottom) was done by the trusted iconic Lipham Music Co where a young Tom Petty worked in the late 1960s after taking lessons there from Don Felder, one of the original Eagles.

Lipham customers included The Allman Brothers, Blackfoot, Iron Butterfly, Tony Joe White and The Royal Guardsmen. Bo Diddley was a customer for 40 years.

The Prodigy is an incredible machine with a totally gorgeous classic Moog sound and very heavy bass capabilities. The filter on it is the most organic of all the vintage Moogs, and is the go to for a vintage Moog short of a Model D. With two oscillators and *THE* Moog filter, this little synth stands tall among the rest of the classics.

Artists that have used the Prodigy include: Massive Attack, Ãœberzone, Cirrus, Astral Projection, Fatboy Slim, Depeche Mode, 808 State, Prodigy, Howard Jones, Blur, The New Deal, Solaris, Jimmy Edgar, NIN, Hippos and the Beastie Boys check out "Make Some Noise" on You-Tube.
